Kung Fu Academy
Mr. Jurewicz opened the “Shao Lin Tiger and Crane Kung Fu Academy” in Newark Delaware upon receiving permission to teach the art from his Masters in China. Sifu John has been studying traditional chinese martial arts since 1980 and has been researching and increasing his knowledge of Hung Gar since 1988. He holds instructor level and international coach level certification from the famous Chin Woo Athletic Association in FoShan.
On any given day there are many students in the school learning Hung Gar Kung Fu, ranging from beginner to advanced. The curriculum includes basics, conditioning, forms, hei gung (chi gung), self-defense, weapons, centering/rooting and overall fitness.
